The Dell XPS M2010, a 20.1-inch mobile entertainment PC, is recently announced.

Dell was seen touting the Dell XPS M2010 at Las Vegas in January where they called it a “mobile concept PC”. That concept becomes reality today as Dell releases the XPS M2010 with a starting price of $3,500. That’s a steep price, but it gets you a lot of options in a mobile type of package. In a closed position this mobile entertainment PC looks like a black leather brief case with an anodized aluminum carrying handle. When opened, the Dell XPS M2010 turns into a 20.1-inch high-definition display with detachable keyboard. (more…)

MSI announced the worldwide availability of its MSI S271 laptop, based on the AMD Turion X2 processor and an ATI chipset, the X200M. Retail price is slated to be ~$1,498.

While everyone was fawning over Apple and its shiny-screened MacBooks, Gateway slipped the word out about its NS100X Ultra Portable laptop. Since it’s less than an inch thick, Gateway decided to call it ultrathin, and it’s fairly light at 3.15 pounds with a 12.1-inch widescreen display at 1280×800 pixels.

Micro Express has announced the HEL8016 laptop, one of the first notebooks to fully support the Intel Interchangeability Initiative. The HEL8016 is made for Micro Express by Compal and supports Intel’s Core Duo processor and high definition audio. As part of the Initiative, the HEL8016 not only features interchangeable parts, such as the keyboard, battery, LCD screen, disk drive, AC power adapter and optical drive, but it’s also compatible with the upcoming Intel Core 2 Duo CPU.
