Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced the availability of the Fujitsu LifeBook Q2010 12.1 inch laptop PC. It weights 2.2 pounds and it’s only ¾ of an inch thick.The Fujitsu LifeBook Q2010 notebook, capable of running Windows Vista, is powered by the Intel Core Solo ULV processor.

Dell today announced the Dell Latitude D420 ultraportable 12.1-inch laptop with a starting weight of three pounds and the potential to deliver more than seven hours of battery life.

The Latitude D420 features a 12.1-inch wide-aspect display, full-sized keyboard and dual pointing capability. Customers can configure systems with choice of Wi-Fi 802.11g or 802.11a/g, as well as optional integrated mobile broadband connections from Cingular or Verizon Wireless in the United States, and Vodafone in France, Germany and the United Kingdom. It is 802.11n-ready, and features the Wi-Fi Catcher, a switch that can help find wireless connections without turning on or booting up, or turn all wireless devices off.

HP announced a new addition to its business line of notebooks, the HP Compaq nx6325 15-inch screen notebook. Last month HP announced a slew of new business notebooks powered by the Intel Core Duo processor, but this latest nx6325 release is powered by the new AMD Turion X2 dual core 64-bit processor.

The nx6325 will come with a 7-in-1 media card reader (Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Duo, Smart Media and xD memory cards), 15-inch screen with option of XGA or SXGA resolution, shared graphics via the ATI XPress 1150 card and will come in at a weight of about 6.0lbs.
