Apple has informed customers who had ordered the new entry-level 1.6GHz Macbook Air (model MB543LL/A) that their laptops will ship later than expected “due to an unexpected delay”.
“We now anticipate shipping the item by 11/24/08 and delivering by 11/29/08,” Apple says. The company previously announced ship times of November 5th and a delivery estimate of November 10th.
The delay does not affect the 1.86GHz MacBook Air model. It ships in 3-5 business days, according to the Apple website.
