This product has design flaw; while using the notebook its Screen turns White Color, Do not buy it
Looks good. Specs are great for its price, but bad product with no service support.
Most Acer products are cheap hence quality is really poor. Aspire 4710 has great specs for its price; hence it turned out to be very poor quality products. In fact, it has a design flaw. While using this product screen turns white and user cannot do any thing. You loose all the work and only option is to cold power off. Though, speakers are supposed to be Dolby but sound is very weak and lack depth. Battery backup time is very short, less than two hours.
Acer has not been to resolve these issue and the service is very poor. Acer has lots of issues with service.
Hence even if price looks very attractive do not buy Acer products because you would be left high and dry, without any support.
They have many hidden and anti-customer terms and conditions on their site regarding warranty.
Do not touch Acer laptops.
Hey Prem,
I have seen your comments verbatim posted on many other e-shopping websites. Is this an agenda of yours to deface Acer or is it a genuine concern for other buyers. Also if such is the case and “screen turning white” issue is indeed widespread in Acer laptops, why is it the top most selling brand in Europe as has been widely advertised.
yes..even i have this problem and there seems to be no solution either with acer or any of the forums online.
It is better to avoid acer products. Purcase it and u will repent.
I have the same white screen problem on my Acer 4710. It has been back to acer twice and they have been unable to fix the problem. I will not buy an acer again.
I have an Acer and my screen also goes “white” all the time. I have to bring it in for repair.
