The Acer Aspire 1410 11.6-inch ultraportable laptop, formerly known as the Aspire Timeline 1810T, is now available for purchase in the US.
Cost Central has in stock the sapphire blue Aspire 1410-8414 model, featuring the Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 1.4GHz ultra-low voltage processor, the GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics managing the 1366×768 LED-backlight display, 2GB of DDR2 RAM upgradeable to 4GB, a 250GB hard drive, and a 6-cell battery providing “up to 6 hours” of run time. The 1410 notebook does not have a built-in optical drive.
There are also a built-in webcam, stereo speakers, HDMI, VGA, and SPDIF outputs, 802.11n WiFi, a Gigabit Ethernet port, three USB ports, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.
The ultraportable weighs 3.1 lbs and runs Windows Vista Home Premium OS.
Acer’s Aspire 1410-8414 is priced at $460. Cost Central also lists a ruby red (1410-8913) and a diamond black (1410-8804) version, but these laptops are out of stock.
