Acer Aspire 2930, 4930, 5930, 7730 Feature Centrino 2

Acer has unveiled four new multimedia-oriented Aspire Gemstone laptops based on Intel’s latest Centrino 2 mobile platform.

The new models include the Acer Aspire 2930, 4930, 5930, and 7730, with display sizes ranging from 12.1 inches in the Aspire 2930 ultraportable to 17-inches in the 7730 desktop replacement.

Each system features the latest Intel Core 2 Duo 45-nanometer CPU and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, as well as variety of graphics options. Acer’s 5930 and 7730 also have optional Blu-ray optical drives.

Currently there is no information on pricing and availability.
