Acer has released recently the new TimelineX thin-and-light notebook line, including the 15.6″ Aspire 5820T.
Around 1-inch thin, the 5.3-pound Aspire 5820T TimelineX features the Intel Core i5-450M 2.4GHz or i3-350M 2.26GHz processor, Intel HD integrated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard disk space, a DVD burner, and a 6-cell battery which provides up to 8 hours of run time. According to earlier reports, Acer will also release the 5820T models with switchable graphics, combining the Intel HD integrated GPU and an ATI Radeon dedicated video card.
Its CineCrystal LED-backlit display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
Acer’s 5820T also includes a web camera, microphone, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit LAN, four USB ports, a 5-in-1 media card reader, VGA and HDMI outputs, and a dedicated numeric pad.
It runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
In the US, the laptop can be purchased for approximately $700 at various online retailers.
