Acer America has introduced the Aspire 8930G-7665, an 18.4-inch entertainment laptop with the new Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 Mobile Processor.
Along with the Q9000 that has four cores, a 2GHz clock speed, 1066MHz FSB, and 6MB of L2 cache, the Acer Aspire 8930G-7665 includes the NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT 512MB video card, 4GB of DDR3 system memory, a 500GB hard drive, and a Blu-ray combo drive. The 16:9 display has a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
There are also a built-in web camera, Dolby Home Theater sound technology, 802.11a/g/draft-N wireless connection, and a 6-in-1 media card reader.
The suggested retail price for the 8930G-7665 is $1799.99. Although Acer says the laptop is available now in the US, we were not able to find it at any online retailer.
