TrustedReviews - Acer Aspire 9800 20in Notebook
There’s no doubt that Acer has created the ultimate desktop replacement notebook in the shape of the Aspire 9800. It’s powerful, feature rich, has a stunning screen and isn’t overly expensive for what you’re getting. It’s not really my cup of tea (if I drank tea that is), but if you need all of your IT and AV needs wrapped up into one, admittedly large box, the Aspire 9800 should suit your needs perfectly.

LAPTOP Magazine - Acer Aspire 9800
Although the Acer Aspire 9800 offers a bigger screen than the Qosmio and is cheaper than the Dell XPS M2010, the Qosmio has a higher-res display, and the M2010 has better ergonomics. Still, this system offers a lot of multimedia bang for your buck.

Acer Aspire 9800 Reviews. Laptops Reviews by CNET.
The good: Beautiful, broad, 20-inch display; built-in HD-DVD drive; built-in TV tuner; dual hard drives provide plenty of storage space.

The bad: Too large to carry; you can’t adjust the display height or keyboard distance from the display; somewhat disappointing gaming performance.

The bottom line: The large, 20-inch Acer Aspire 9800 offers a decent multimedia experience, but you’d be better off buying a more portable laptop and a detached display.
