Acer Aspire One AOD250Acer has announced a dual-boot version of the Aspire One AOD250 netbook, which includes Adroid and Windows XP operating systems.

Android is a lightweight Linux-based open source OS designed specifically for mobile devices. Acer says that Android allows the Aspire One netbook to boot up and shut down quickly with “instant on” Internet connectivity.

The Aspire One AOD250 features a 10.1-inch display, the Intel Atom N280 processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive.

The first netbook with Android in the US market starts at $349.99.
