Acer Aspire AS3680-2022 with Vista Basic Costs $499

BestBuy has offered the 14.1-inch widescreen Acer Aspire AS3680-2022 notebook PC with Windows Vista Basic OS for $499.99. Acer Aspire AS3680-2022 features Intel Celeron M 420 processor at 1.6GHz speed, 512MB of DDR2 memory, 80GB hard drive and a DVD/CD-RW combo drive.

This sub-$500 Vista Basic laptop features an integrated Intel’s Graphics Media Accelerator 950 and High Definition Audio. Regarding communications there are 802.11b/g wireless, 56k modem and LAN connections.

Acer Aspire AS3680-2022 has PCMCIA Card Slot, three USB ports, a 5-in-1 card reader, a VGA output and S-Video TV-out.

The AS3680-2022 product page at BestBuy says this affordable laptop weighs from 4.5 to 6 lbs.
