Acer has released the newly designed thin-and-light Aspire TimelineX series, initially including the TimelineX 5820T, 4820T, 3820T, and 1830T.
Acer’s Aspire TimelineX 5820T features a 15.6-inch display, the Intel Core i7, i5 or i3 processor, the integrated GMA HD, or dedicated ATI Radeon HD5650 1GB, or ATI Radeon HD5470 512MB graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 640GB of hard disk space, up to 8-hour battery life with its standard 6-cell battery and up to 12 hours of work time with the 9-cell battery. The weight starts at 5.3lbs.
The TimelineX 4820T includes a 14-inch screen, the Intel Core i7, i5 or i3 CPU, the GMA HD, Radeon HD5650 or Radeon HD5470 graphics card, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 640GB HDD, and up to 8-hour battery life with its 6-cell pack. It weighs 4.85 pounds.
Weighing 3.97lbs, the 13.3″ Aspire TimelineX 3820T has the Core i7, i5 or i3 CPU, the GMA HD, Radeon HD5650 1GB or HD5470 512MB GPU, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 640GB of storage space, and up to 8-hour of work time with its 6-cell battery.
Finally, the 3.09-pound Aspire TimelineX 1830T sports a 11.6-inch screen, the Intel Core 2 Solo processor, up to 2GB of DDR3 memory, the Intel GMA HD graphics, and a 6-cell battery which provides up to 8 hours of run time. It comes in three colors: red, black and blue.
All four models are less than 1 inch thin and include LED-backlit screens with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
