Acer TravelMate C210 is the first-to-market 12.1-inch screen tablet PC featuring Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor. The C210 is also the first 12.1-inch tablet PC with an integrated optical drive, according to its product page on the Acer’s Worldwide site.
As same as Acer C200 tablet PC, the C210 has a sliding-track, providing one-motion convertibility from slate mode to keyboard mode with 125-degree display.
Based on Mobile Intel 945PM Express chipset with Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG or 3945BG, the Acer TravelMate C210 tablet computer has Core 2 Duo (Merom) T5500, T5600, T7200 or T7400 dual-core 64-bit processor. It supports up to 4 GB of DDR2 533/667 MHz memory, and features a hard drive with up to 160GB “or higher” storage space. Regarding graphics, it has NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 graphics card with up to 256 MB of video memory. For secure personal computing there is a built-in biometric fingerprint reader. The Acer TravelMate is “Windows Vista Capable” and “Vista Premium Ready”, but it is currently listed with Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005.
