Apple issued three software updates to fix three major Airport wireless device drivers vulnerabilities of its Mac products, including Mac laptops. The company said the flaws could be exploited by attackers to compromise a vulnerable system remotely just by having the wireless devices turned on and in range of the attacker.
The first patch fixes the Aiprort flaws in Power Mac, PowerBook, iMac, Mac Pro, Xserve, and PowerPC-based Mac mini computers equipped with wireless. The two other patches are aimed to fix wireless drivers of the Mac mini, MacBook, and MacBook Pro.
