AMDAdvanced Micro Devices (AMD) will announce the Rev G Turion 64 X2 and Mobile Sempron CPU lineups, the company’s first 65nm-made laptop-use processors, in 2007. The Rev G 35W Turions and Rev G 25W Semprons will support DDR2 800Mhz memory and will use Socket S1, Digi Times reported according to the motherboard makers.

The Rev G Turion 64 X2 (codenamed Tyler) will be launched in the second quarter of the next year, while Rev G Mobile Sempron (codenamed Sherman) production is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2007.

“AMD is preparing to switch production of all Turion 64 X2 and Mobile Sempron parts to 65nm process technology from the first quarter of 2008″, Digi Times reported.
