Asus Eee PC 1002HA Now Available for Preorder

The Asus Eee PC 1002HA, Asustek’s new 10-inch netbook, is now available for preorder in the United States.

According to the product pages at ZipZoomFly and Buy.com, the 2.6-pound Eee PC 1002HA features the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive, a 2-cell battery for “up to 4 hours” of battery life, and Windows XP Home operating system. The LED-backlit display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

The successor of the 1000H also features a 1.3MP web camera, 802.11b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth connections, an Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports, a media card reader, and VGA output.

The Asus Eee PC 1002HA has a brushed aluminized shell and is priced at $495-$499.
