Asustek has released this week the 10.1-inch Asus Eee PC 1005PR netbook with the embedded HD Decoder Broadcom BCM 70015 chip supporting high definition quality video playback.
Besides the HD decoder, the Eee PC 1005PR features the 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor with integrated GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 250GB of hard drive space, a 6-cell battery providing claimed 11 hours of run time, and Windows 7 Starter OS.
The 2.8-pound netbook has a LED backlight screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
It also includes a 0.3MP web camera, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, a MMC/SD(SDHC) card reader, and VGA output.
There’s no info on pricing and availability at the time of this writing.
