Marie Britt Says:

I have this laptop and loved it at first. Then the hard drive crashed. I had that fixed, then keyboard overheated and would fail, only on restart did it fix- then the operating system loaded up one day with missing OS. My IT guru husband attempted to fix it for me, and it wouldn’t respond. This was a month into having it. We contacted techsupport, a tedious process, and had it fixed. It was gone for a month and when it came back, the repair tech had left it to where when it powered up, it was in a state asking which version to install for the consumer downloads. And its case screws were missing. If not for Linn at Asus, I wouldn’t have gotten my screws back. While its a lightweight device, and has a great camera, for me the drawbacks are the overheating issues, which are still occurring. Had I known more on its glitches, I wouldn’t have chosen this laptop.
