The ASUS Eee PC 1201N, a 12.1-inch Nvidia ION-based netbook, is now available for pre-order in the US.
Excaliber PC offers the black Eee PC 1201N-PU17-BK model, which includes the dual-core Intel Atom N330 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of DDR2 Memory, and a 250GB hard drive, along with the full HD-capable ION graphics. The 12.1″ LED backlight display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
The 3.2-pound 1201N-PU17-BK also features a 6-cell battery for “up to 8 hours” of battery life, a 0.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, three USB ports, an MMC/SD media card reader, and a VGA output.
The netbook runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS and is priced at $499.
