Asustek prepares the Asus Eee PC 701SD, their new 7-inch low-cost ultraportable which has an Intel Atom CPU instead of Celeron in older 701 models.
There are no detailed specifications of the Eee PC 701SD. However, revealed pictures show the netbook has a slightly redesigned chassis, when compared to the standard Eee PC 701.
According to a leaked Eee PC roadmap slide, the company will unveil three 701SD models: the 701SD(30G HDD), 701SD, and 701SD-4G.

Along with these lower-end models, the roadmap says that Asustek is going to release the S101 and S91 “extreme slim and light” models and “professional elegant” 1000HV, 1002SA, 1002HA, and T101. There are also some new 9xx series, such as 900A, 900HD, 904HD, and 904HA.
There is no information on pricing and availability.
