German website Eee PC News has revealed details of the Asus Eee PC 900A low-cost ultraportable notebook, which features the Intel Atom processor, instead of Celeron in older 900 models.
The 2.2-pound 900A looks like the 900 with a 8.9-inch 1024×600 display. Other features of the Eee PC 900A include 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 8GB or 16GB solid state drive, 4-cell battery, 0.3MP web camera, and wireless and Ethernet LAN connections.
This netbook also sports three USB ports, an SD-Card/MMC Slot, and VGA output.
The Eee PC 900A runs Linux operating system.
Cyberport.de sells the 900A with 8GB SSD for 299 Euros (around $460). There is no information on its availability in the US.
