Asus Eee PC 901 12G Now Available

The Asus Eee PC 901 12G 8.9-inch mini-notebook is now available for purchase in the United States through NewEgg and costs $599.

The 2.4-pound Eee PC 901 12G features an Intel Atom processor, 12GB of solid state drive storage, 1GB of RAM, a 6-cell battery, and Windows XP operating system. The netbook’s display has a resolution of 1024-by-600 pixels.

The other features include a built-in 1.3-megapixel camera, 802.11n wireless LAN, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, a VGA output, and MMC/SD memory card reader.

NewEgg offers the 12G in Pearl White and Galaxy Black colors.

Asustek has also produced the Eee PC 901 20G with 20GB of storage and Linux OS, as well as Eee PC 1000 and 1000H. These are available for preorder through Amazon.
