Asustek is planning to launch the ASUS Eee PC 904 and 905 low-cost ultraportable notebook models, which have an 8.9-inch panel but use a similar chassis and keyboard as the Eee PC 1000 10.2-inch models, DigiTimes reports.
“The Eee PC 904 and 905 will adopt Atom processors and the major difference between the two and the previous 901 model is that they feature a bigger keyboard. Asustek is still evaluating whether to make changes to the two models’ battery and storage capacity,” the report says.
According to DigiTimes’ sources at channel vendors, Asutek expects the 904 ad 905 to come out at a similar price range as the current 900 and 901. There is no info on availability date.
