Asustek showcases at the ongoing 2008 CeBIT expo in Germany the Asus G70, its new 17-inch gaming notebook, which features dual Nvidia GeForce video cards.
According to SlashGear’s report, the G70 incorporates “Intel’s latest Core 2 Duo processor” and two GeForce 8700M GS GPUs in SLI setup. The notebook sports dual hard drives and up to 4GB of system memory. However, earlier announcement says it supports up to 8GB of RAM.
The laptop’s 17″ display has a 1920×1200 HD resolution. There is also a pair of built-in Altec Lansing stereo speakers with subwoofer, as well as a HDMI output, an embedded TV tuner, a remote control, and an integrated web camera.
Currently, here is no information on the availability date and pricing of the G70.
Sorry you are wrong again. It supports the 8700 GT’s not GS.
