AMD has silently added this week the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2700 graphics processing unit for notebooks to its product lineup.
The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2700 has 120 stream processing units and a 128-bit DDR2/GDDR3 memory interface, and supports DirectX 10 gaming. The new graphics solution for laptops incorporates ATI Avivo HD video processing and display technology, delivering “High Definition video playback and full HD DVD and Blu-ray disc support”, and ATI PowerPlay 7.0 technology for balance between power consumption and performance.
As same as the Mobility Radeon HD 2600 series, the HD 2700 is made using the 65nm production process.
