Averatec has released the Intel Atom-based N1200 netbook.
Staring at 2.2 pounds, the N1200 features a 10.1-inch 1024×600-pixel LED-backlight display, the Atom N450 CPU with the GMA 3150 graphics, a 160GB or 250GB hard drive, 1GB of DDR2 memory which is expandable to 2GB, and a baterry life of 3 or 6 hours, depending on model. It runs Windows XP Home or Windows 7 Starter OS.
Avertec’s mini-laptop also includes a 1.3MP web camera, an Ethernet LAN port, 802.11n WLAN, and Bluetooth (in N1231FE1E model).
The netbook comes in bronze or silver color.
The Avertec N1200 will be available this month with prices ranging from $329 to $379.
