Samsung is going to expand its Series 7 laptop line with 17-inch models, but maybe it’s more important fact that the spotted NP700G7C-S01US on Best Buy will come with an Ivy Bridge processor, the quad-core Intel Core i7-3610QM.
We’ll probably see a dual hard drive setup in the Samsung NP700, since the short specs list includes 2TB of storage. There’s also a plenty of RAM in the listed model – 16GB. The NP700G7C-S01US configuration is priced at $1,915.99. What surprised us is the notebook’s availability. It ships in “1 -2 weeks”. If that info is correct, Ivy Bridge-based laptops are just around the corner and will hit the market much earlier than April, which was previously expected arrival time.
