The long awaited Asus ultrabooks, now officially called Zenbooks, have arrived on the US market.

That could be either the 1.6GHz Atom N2600 or 1.86GHz N2800, but no matter what their clock speeds are both will support 1080p video playback and will provide better power efficiency since they are built using the 32nm production process, versus 45nm of the previous Pine Trail chips.
Ultrabooks are scheduled to hit the market next month but select online retailers have already revealed prices for some of these ultrathin Intel-based laptops, and are accepting pre-orders for some of them.
Asustek’s latest UX ultrabook laptop series, including the 11.6 inch Asus UX21 and a 13.3 inch UX31, will be officially unveiled on October 11th in the US. Both laptops have 0.12 to 0.67 inch thin profile, an all-aluminum chassis with a brushed finish, ultrabook-optimized 2nd Generation Intel Core ultra-low voltage processors, and solid state drives.

Asus has revamped their N family of multimedia laptop lineup by adding three new series – the 14-inch N45SF, 15.6″ N55SF, and 17.3″ N75SF.

Asustek has released details of the Asus K93SV notebook, the largest member of the K-series to date. The K73 hasn’t the biggest screen in the Versatile Performance K family anymore, since the K93 desktop replacement sports an 18.4-inch panel with, unsurprisingly, full HD resolution.
Asustek has released specifications of the Asus Eee PC X101, an ultra-thin and ultra-affordable netbook.
With an announced price of only $199, the Eee PC X101 features MeeGo operating system, a 10.1-inch 1,204 x 600 display, the Intel Atom N435 1.33GHz or N455 1.66GHz CPU, a single SO-DIMM slot for up to 2GB DDR3 memory (1GB standard), and 8GB of Flash-based storage.
