The Satellite C655D-S5302 is basically the same C655D-S5300 laptop which was selling for $270, with exception of smaller RAM. The C655D-S5302 has only 2GB while the S5300 has 4GB. Besides a lack of an HDMI port, the small amount of installed memory may be a deal breaker for some. On the other side, you can put up to 8GB in this laptop. The RAM type is DDR3 and this component isn’t expensive. You can buy an additional 2GB DDR3 SODIMM module for slightly more than $10 on the market today and upgrade it yourself, but hoping that Toshiba hasn’t occupied both SODIMM slots with two 1GB parts.
The HP 2000-329WM 15.6-inch notebook was priced at $248 on Black Friday at Walmart. During the ongoing Cyber Week, the retailer offers it in a nice bundle with a carrying case, wireless mouse and multi-function printer for $349.

The HP 200-379WM model included in the bundle is apparently from the Hewlett-Packard’s 2000 series, so the correct product name is more likely HP 2000-379WM. The 200-379WM is powered by the 1st Generation Intel Core i3-370M dual core processor at 2.4GHz, so it is not the latest i3. It comes paired with 4GB of RAM. For data storage there’s a 500GB hard drive and a DVD burner. The 1366×760 display is managed by the on-CPU integrated graphics.

It’s the 15.6-inch Samsung NP-RV510-A05US notebook with the Intel Pentium T4500 dual-core processor at 2.3GHz, Intel HD integrated graphics, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive, for $299.
The Acer Aspire AS7750-UMACKK3J from the Aspire series is the only Intel-based laptop model listed in Walmart’s Black Friday 2011 catalog.
Featuring a 17.3-inch display and an Intel Core i5 processor, the Acer AS7750-UMACKK3J is not a low-end system. When you add to these specs 4GB of RAM, a spacious 640GB hard disk, and a price of $498, you have a great mainstream notebook deal, without sacrificing performance.
With a price of $388, the HP g7-1219wm is not intended to be the main Walmart Black Friday door-buster.
It’s more expensive than the HP 2000-329WM and Compaq Presario CQ57-319WM, but on the other side it has better specifications. The HP g7-1219wm from the Pavilion series, listed in Walmart’s Black Friday catalog, packs a larger 17.3″ screen, the newer AMD Fusion E-450 processor with dual CPU cores at 1.65GHz, the Radeon HD 6320 integrated graphics, and a dedicated HD video decoder for smooth 1080p video playback. It has more RAM and a larger hard drive than the HP 2000 and CQ57 – 4GB and 500GB, as well as a webcam, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.
The Walmart 2011 Black Friday laptop door-buster has been revealed. It’s the Compaq Presario CQ57-319QM (#CQ57-319M in the BF ad) by HP, priced at only $198.
Walmart’s Black Friday ad contains this full size laptop with a 15.6-inch display, but its processor is more suitable for netbooks. The CPU is the low-power AMD Fusion C-50 dual-core at 1GHz with the Radeon HD 6250 graphics and 1080p HD video decoding capability. For comparison the Intel Atom N570 dual-core netbook processor is faster in various benchmarks than the C-50 when it comes to CPU performance, but the C-50 has a better GPU. The Compaq Presario CQ57-319WM includes 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, built-in webcam, 2-in-1 card reader, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5300 is yet another pre-Black Friday laptop deal, but it stands out with a price of only $270.
Featuring a common 15.6-inch 1366-by-768 display and the AMD Fusion E-300 processor, the Satellite C655D-S5300 is a spacious laptop but its performance is not great.
