Dell Studio XPS 15, 17 Laptops Leaked

Dell Studio XPS 15 17Dell is going to release the new Studio XPS laptop line, including the Studio XPS 15 and 17, according to a post on LesDelliens forum.

Sources from Dell France say the Studio XPS 15 and 17 will include the lastest Intel Core processors, up to Core i7, and Nvidia’s dedicated graphics. The XPS 15 will ship with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 750GB hard drive, whereas the 17 will have up to 16GB RAM and dual HDDs for maximum 1.2TB of storage space. There’s no info on screen sizes, but we assume the 15 and 17 will have display diagonals of around 15″ and 17″, respectively.

The failure rates for Asus, Toshiba, Sony, Apple and Dell notebooks are 15.6, 15.7, 16.8, 17.4, and 18.3 percent, respectively.

Dell Studio 14zDell announced today the Studio 14z consumer laptop, featuring a 14-inch display, Intel’s Pentium or Core 2 Duo processors, and the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics.

With a starting weight of 4.3 pounds, the Dell Studio 14z, also includes up to 500GB hard drive, up to 5GB of DDR3 memory, a 6- or 8-cell battery, a built-in 1.3MP web camera, stereo speakers, an HDMI output and a Display Port, a Wireless-G or Wireless-N card, a Gigabit LAN port, optional Bluetooth and mobile broadband connections, three USB ports (one with eSATA functionality), an ExpressCard slot, and Firewire. The 14z does not feature a built-in optical drive.

Dell Studio 15Dell unveiled today the Studio 15, a new 15.4-inch consumer laptop with a variety of personalization options.

The Dell Studio 15 (1535) is based on Intel’s Centrino mobile technology including 965GM/PM chipsets and Core 2 Duo processors. The new laptop supports up to 4GB of system memory and comes with up to 320GB of hard drive space and a slot-load DVD burner or Blu-Ray Combo. Notebook’s 15.4″ glossy widescreen display features three resolution options: 1280×800, 1440×900 with LED backlight, and 1920×1200. The screen is managed by Intel’s integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 or an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 256MB dedicated video card.
