Fujitsu Computer Systems has introduced the LifeBook A6120, LifeBook N6470 and LifeBook E8410 desktop replacements, the company’s first notebooks powered by the line of next-generation 45-nanometer Intel Core 2 Duo “Penryn” mobile processors.
All three “Penryn”-based notebooks have improvemed performance, graphics capabilities, and battery life, over their 65nm “Merom”-powered precursors, according to the PC maker.
Fujitsu Computer Systems has announced the LifeBook S7211 14-inch notebook, aimed at cost-conscious small and medium size business customers.
The Fujitsu LifeBook S7211 starts at $899 and features the Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor T2330 at 1.6 GHz or the Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 CPU at 1.5 GHz, depending on model. The notebook is based on the Intel GM965 chipset with the Graphics Media Accelerator X3100. This integrated GPU manages the S7211′s 14.1″ Crystal View widescreen display with a 1280-by-800 pixels resolution. The laptop features 1GB of DDR2 system memory, expandable to 4GB, a 120GB hard drive at 5,400rpm, and a modular bay, that fits an optical drive, an additional battery for up to 6.5 hours of run time, or a weight-saver.
The Fujitsu LifeBook A6110, the company’s new affordable 15.4-inch laptop starting at $799 after rebates, is now available for purchase.
Based on the Intel Santa Rosa platform, the multimedia-oriented LifeBook A6110 series notebooks feature a Core 2 Duo processor and the Intel GM965 chipset with the GMA X3100 integrated graphics. The A6110 features 1GB or 2GB of system memory and a 160GB or 200GB hard drive, depending on configuration. There are also a DVD burner and the 1GB Intel Turbo Memory module for faster system booting and responsiveness. The notebook’s 15.4″ widescreen display provides 1280-by-800 screen resolution.
Fujitsu today announced the affordable LifeBook V1010 15.4-inch laptop series, starting at $799.
The basic Fujitsu LifeBook V1010 configuration features the Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2130 processor at 1.86GHz, 1GB of DDR2 system memory, a 120GB hard drive, a DVD burner, and the Intel GMA 950 integradted graphics, managing the 15.4″ widescreen display with 1280-by-800 resolution. Customers can also purchase the V1010 with the Core 2 Duo Processor T5200 at 1.6 Ghz and 2GB of RAM for an additional $100.
Fujitsu LifeBook U810, the company’s first ultra-mobile PC for the US makret, is now available for purchase. The “World’s smallest tablet convertible” U810 is based on the Intel’s Ultra Mobile Platform 2007, and has a 5.6-inch touch-sensitive display, a QWERTY keyboard, a weight of just 1.56 pounds, and a claimed battery life of up to 5.5 hours with a standard 4-cell battery.
The LifeBook U810 is equipped with the Intel A110 Ultra Low Power processor at 800MHz and uses a 400MHz front side bus. This convertible laptop-like UMPC has 1GB of DDR2 system memory, and a 40GB 1.8-inch hard drive at 4200rpm. Its 5.6″ display with finger and pen input capability provides 1024-by-600 pixel resolution and is managed by the integrated graphics, which is a part of the U810′s Intel 945GU chipset.
Fujitsu announced today the U.S. availability of the LifeBook T2010 Tablet PC, which features a 12.1-inch display, Intel’s “Santa Rosa” platform, the Core 2 Duo Ultra Low Voltage processor, and a claimed battery life of up to nine hours.
This pen-enabled convertible laptop has a WXGA 1280-by-800 pixels display with LED-backlighting and an enhanced outdoor viewing capability. The LifeBook T2010 is based on Intel 965GM chipset with the integrated GMA X3100 video controller and is paired with Core 2 Duo ULV U7600 or U7500 processor, depending on configuration. It ships with 1GB to 4 GB (actual 3.24 GB) of DDR2 system memory. The CPU and memory in this Tablet PC operate at 533MHz front side bus, which is slower than 800MHz/667MHz FSB in common “Santa Rosaâ€-based mobile computers with full-voltage processors.
Fujitsu has expanded its desktop replacement notebook PC lineup with the Intel “Santa Rosa” platform-based 17-inch LifeBook N6460, which provides Core 2 Duo processor, ATI Radeon HD 2600 graphics, HDMI port, and high definition optical drives option.
According to laptop’s specifications, Fujitsu LifeBook N6460 is based on Intel PM965 chipset, paired with Core 2 Duo T7300, T7100 or T5250 CPU, depending on model. Its ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 video card with 256MB of dedicated graphics memory is DirectX 10 compatible and empowers the 17″ widescreen display with resolution of 1440-by-900 pixels. The notebook supports up to 4GB of DDR2 system memory and comes with up to 500GB of storage space by combining two 250GB internal hard drives at 4200rpm rotational speed.
Fujitsu has launched LifeBook A3130 15.4-inch desktop replacement laptop PC, based on AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology.
Along with dual core Turion TL-60 processor at 2GHz and the integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 graphics, Fujitsu LifeBook A3130 features 2GB of DDR2 system memory, expandable up to 4GB, and a 120GB SATA hard drive with 5400rpm rotational speed. The notebook’s 15.4″ widescreen display has 1280-by-800 pixel screen resolution, 450-nits brightness, 600:1 contrast ratio, as well as 120 degrees horizontal and 90 vertical viewing angles. The Lifebook A3130 comes with a DVD burner.
Recently announced Intel “Santa Rosa” platform-based Fujitsu LifeBook E8310 and E8410 desktop replacement (DTR) notebooks are now available for purchase.
Fujitsu’s E8310 and E8410 are offered with Intel Core 2 Duo T7100, T730, or T7500 processors featuring 1.8GHz, 2GHz, and 2.2GHz clock speeds respectively, and a 800MHz front side bus. Both laptops provide two DIMM slots for up to 4GB of system memory, and come with up to 120GB hard drive. These notebooks have built in optical drives and an optional Intel Turbo memory, which should work under Microsoft’s Windows Vista Business operating system.

The Intel Centrino Duo LifeBook A6030 15.4-inch widescreen laptop is built on GM965 chipset providing 800MHz front side bus and the integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100. It is offered with Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor at 2.0GHz or T7100 at 1.8GHz. The A6030′s display resolution is 1280×800. This notebook supports up to 4GB system memory, and has up to 120GB hard drive storage capacity, as well as a DVD burner. The PC maker also provides the controversial Intel Turbo Memory option in A6030 notebooks with Windows Vista Business OS preloaded.
Fujitsu has updated its Tablet PC lineup with the new thin and light LifeBook T4220, based on Intel “Santa Rosa” mobile computing platform.
Fujitsu LifeBook T4220 features Intel Core 2 Duo T7100, T7300, T7500, or T7700 processor and Mobile Intel GM965 Express chipset. The GM965 has the integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, which manages the Tablet PC’s 12.1-inch XGA TFT display with 1024×768 resolution and an optional outdoor-use design. The LifeBook T4220 features digital pen input.
Fujitsu today announced the addition of the U Series of ultra-mobile PCs (UMPCs) to its FMV-LIFEBOOK line of laptops. The introduced FMV-U8240 model for the Japanese market is the Company’s first UMPC device.
“Intended for business users, the U Series is the world’s smallest tablet-convertible UMPC, weighing only 580g and with a thickness of only 26.5mm,” Fujitsu says, adding that this mobile computer has a battery life of up to eight hours.

Fujitsu Computer Systems today announced that its LifeBook P1610 and LifeBook B6210 ultra-portable pen-enabled notebooks will offer an option for a solid-state drive (SSD), the NAND flash-based replacement for traditional hard disk drives.
“The 2.2-pound LifeBook P1610 convertible touch screen notebook and 3.2-pound LifeBook B6210 touch screen notebook are now offered with two flash-based SSD configurations, 16 GB or 32 GB. SSDs offer lower power consumption, added ruggedness, high reliability, and improved performance,” Fujitsu says.
Fujitsu Computer Systems Corporation today announced the Fujitsu LifeBook S2210, a thin and light 13.3-inch XGA display business laptop powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processor at 1.6GHz and ATI Radeon X1150 graphics with up to 256MB of shared graphics memory.
It supports up to 4GB of main memory and features up to 100GB SATA 5400rpm hard drive. Fujitsu LifeBook S2210 notebook has a modular bay that can be configured with a Dual-Layer Multi-Format DVD Writer, second hard drive, or a bay battery.
