Fujitsu announced today the world’s first ultrabook with built-in 4G LTE mobile broadband connectivity.
It’s also the company’s first ultrabook and sports a 14″ frameless display panel. It belongs to the LifeBook laptop line. The unnamed ultrabook weighs less than 3.2 pounds and measues 0.63″ thin.
Fujitsu Laptop and Tablet Roadmap for 2012
Fujitsu has on its 2012 roadmap ultrabooks, Android tablets, and a laptop / tablet hybrid, according to a leaked slide.
In May, Fujitsu will unveil “two new ultrabooks”, followed by a “Slimbook” laptop and a “mainstream Android media tablet” in June. A “performance slate” with a detachable keyboard like on the Asus Transformer or Lenovo S2 will come in September and this could be the most interesting Fujitsu mobile computer this year. Unlike Android tablet, the slate has no green robot logo, so it could be a Windows slate with a fast Intel processor like on the Samsung Slate 7.
According to the slide, Fujitsu expects Windows 8 to arrive in Q4.

Fujitsu Stylistic M532
Ndevil and TechFocus from Germany have posted videos of the upcoming tablet by Fujitsu – the Stylistic M532. The M532 has a 10.1″ 1280 × 800 screen, the Nvidia Tegra 3 platform, 3MP/8MP front/rear facing cameras, a SIM card slot, and an microSD slot. The captured Stylistic M532 ran Android 3.0 Honeycomb, but when it hits the market in May for 500 Euros, it will include ICS 4.0. Since there were Citrix, VDI, VMware View, and other useful apps for business pre-installed on the tablet, it appears to be targeted at business market.

Fujitsu has announced the Fujitsu Lifebook SH76/G thin and light notebook. The Lifebook SH76/G features a 13.3-inch 1366 x 768 display, an Intel Core i5-2450M processor at 2.50GHz, 4GB DDR3 of memory, a 128GB SSD, webcam, DVD burner, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Fujitsu has announced the LifeBook TH Series tablet PC with a slide-out keyboard, Windows 7 OS, 10.1-inch display, and Intel Atom “Oak Trail” platform.
The first known model is the LifeBook TH40/D for the Japanese market. Besides the 1024 × 600 capacitive multitouch-enabled LED-backlight screen, the 2.4-pound slider with a 0.68-inch thickness features the Atom Z670 1.5GHz single-core processor with Intel GMA 600 integrated graphics, 1GB of DDR2 system memory, a 120GB hard drive, and approximately six hours of battery life.
Intel Corp has officially released the Intel Atom Z670 processor and accompanying “Oak Trail” platform, designed for use in tablets and other mobile computers.
The new CPU and Intel SM35 Express chipset support various 32-bit operating systems, including Windows, Google Chrome, Android, and MeeGo, and enable 1080p playback via incorporated HD video decoder and HDMI output. The Oak Trail platform provides a smaller footprint than previous generations and a lower-power fan-less design for a longer battery life.

The new LifeBook laptops feature the standard voltage 2nd Generation Intel Core “Sandy Bridge” Core i5 and i7 CPUs, except the P771 which includes ultra-low voltage Core i7 “Sandy Bridge” chip options.

Fujitsu has announced the LifeBook T580 ultraportable convertible laptop, featuring a 10.1-inch multitouch display and an Intel ultra-low voltage processor.
The rotatable LED-backlight screen of the LifeBook T580 supports multiple touch gestures with up to 4 fingers at the same time, as well as pen input, while an integrated light-sensitive sensor automatically adjusts the brightness of the display according to the ambient light.
Intel Corporation announced today that new netbooks based on the dual-core Intel Atom N550 mobile processor are available in stores today.
“The netbooks – available now and through the end of the year from manufacturers including Acer, ASUS, Fujitsu, Lenovo, LG, Samsung, MSI, and Toshiba – enable new levels of support for applications like games, as well as Adobe Flash technology for access to a number of Web pages including online hotel booking systems and multimedia sites such as YouTube and Hulu,” Intel’s press release says.
Fujitsu has released the 11.6-inch LifeBook PH520 ultraportable notebook, based on AMD’s 2010 Ultrathin Notebook Platform.
The LifeBook PH520 features the AMD Athlon II Neo K125 1.70GHz processor, ATI Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard disk, and optional external USB optical drive.
Fujitsu has released the 12.1-inch LifeBook TH700 Tablet PC.
The LifeBook TH700′s LED-backlit 1280×800 display supports both digital pen and capacitive multi-touch input. The Tablet PC features the Intel Core i3-350M 2.26GHz processor, Intel HD integrated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard drive, and a modular DVD burner which can be replaced with a secondary battery, hard disk, or weight saver.
