Lenovo IdeaPad Y460 Now Available
Lenovo has released the IdeaPad Y460, a 14-inch laptop for consumers.
The new laptop features Intel’s Core i3-330M CPU, GMA HD integrated GPU, and a 320GB HDD or the Core i5-520M processor, a switchable graphics solution with both GMA HD and the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1GB video card, and a 500GB HDD. Both models have 4GB of DDR3 memory, a DVD burner and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.
Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t Tablet PC Overview
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t is the company’s recently announced tablet PC with 10.1-inch multi-touch display and the Intel Atom processor.
The IdeaPad S10-3t comes with a 1024×600-pixel LED-backlight glossy display supporting two-finger touch gesuteres, the Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz or N470 1.83GHz processor, the Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB or 250GB hard drive, a 4-cell or 8-cell battery, and Windows 7 Starter Edition or Home Premium OS.
Lenovo IdeaPad s10-3 Netbook Overview
Lenovo’s recently announced netbook, the 10.1-inch IdeaPad S10-3 is now available for purchase.
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 comes with the Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, the Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery, and Windows 7 Starter Edition OS. The S10-3 is also expected to be available with the Atom N470 processor, a 320GB hard drive, and built-in mobile broadband support.
Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Laptop/Tablet Announced
Lenovo today announced the IdeaPad U1 Hybrid, an innovative notebook that has a removable multi-touch display which can be used as a standalone tablet computer.
“When the two devices are paired, the 3.7-pound U1 Hybrid operates as a 11.6-inch (1366 x 768), Windows 7 Home Premium system powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SU processor (it’s rated to achieve up to 8 hours of battery life). When separated, the slate runs on a Qualcomm ARM Snapdragon processor that powers Lenovo’s customized Skylight interface (a version of Linux), which can be used in both portrait and landscape modes. Lenovo estimates that customers will see 6 hours of endurance when the U1 Hybrid is used as a tablet. and 3G web-surfing is rated at 5 hours,” Laptop Magazine reports.
Lenovo Updates IdeaPad Line with New Laptops, Netbooks
Lenovo announced today the new IdeaPad laptops: the S10-3t (tablet) and S10-3 netbooks, the multimedia-oriented Y460 and Y560, the G460 and G560 value-line series, and V460 and V360 for the SOHO market.
The S10-3t is a convertible netbook tablet with a 10.1-inch multitouch capacitive screen, while the S10-3 is a standard 10.1″ netbook. Both are based on Intel’s Pine Trail M platform.

Lenovo IdeaPad U150 11.6″ Ultraportable Launched
Lenovo has released the IdeaPad U150, a new 11.6-inch ultraportable laptop.
The Intel CULV-powered IdeaPad U150 measures 0.75-inch thin and weighs under 3 pounds. The first two released models are the red U150 690968U featuring the Intel Pentium Dual-Core SU4100 1.3GHz CPU, 3GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive, and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, and the black U150 690969U with the Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 at 1.3GHz, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB HDD, and 802.11n Wi-Fi. Both Windows 7 Home Premium-based notebooks come with 6-cell batteries and do not have built-in optical drives. Their displays use LED backlight and have a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
Lenovo IdeaPad S12 with NVIDIA Ion Now Available
The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 netbook models with the NVIDIA Ion multimedia-oriented platform are now available for purchase.
The Ion-based IdeaPad S12 features a 12.1-inch 1280×800 display, a 256MB dedicated graphics card supporting full HD video playback, the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU and Windows 7 OS. The first two released models – the 29595FU and 295954U – include 2GB and 3GB of DDR2 RAM and 250GB and 320GB hard drives, respectively. Both netbooks have a 6-cell battery, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a black chassis.
Lenovo IdeaPad U550 Launched
Lenovo has launched the IdeaPad U550 15.6-inch thin-and-light laptop, based on Intel’s ultra-low voltage processor and Windows 7 operating system.
The multimedia-oriented U550 starts at 5.3lbs and is 1″ thin. The first models feature Intel Core 2 Duo ULV CPUs at 1.3GHz or 1.4GHz, the Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated or the ATI Radeon HD 4330 512MB dedicated graphics, 3GB or 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB or 320GB hard drive, a DVD burner, and a six-cell battery for “up to 6 hours” of run time. According to a product page at Lenovo.com, the 15.6″ display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and uses LED backlight.
Lenovo Launches IdeaPad U450p Thin-and-Light Laptop
Lenovo has released the IdeaPad U450p, a 14-inch thin-and-light notebook for consumers.
The 4.6-pound U450p features the Intel Pentium SU2700 1.30GHz or the Core 2 Solo SU3500 1.4GHz processor, the 4500MHD integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, a DVD burner, and a 6-cell battery for “up to 6 hours” of runtime on a single charge.
Lenovo IdeaPad U350 Thin & Light Laptop Now on Sale
Lenovo’s recently announced IdeaPad U350 thin-and-light 13.3-inch notebook, based on the Intel CULV platform, can be purchased now.
Starting at 3.52 pounds, the Lenovo IdeaPad U350 features the Intel Pentium SU2700 ultra-low voltage processor at 1.3GHz, the GMA 4500M integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, and up to 320GB of hard drive space. The notebook doesn’t include a built-in optical drive.
Lenovo Launches IdeaPad U350 for Consumers, G550 for Businesses
Along with the IdeaPad S12, Lenovo introduced today two new laptops – the 13.3-inch IdeaPad U350 for consumers and the 15.6-inch G550 for small and medium business users.
The U350 is a thin-and-light notebook based on Intel’s ultra low voltage processors – Core 2 Solo and Pentium ULV – and features up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, and up to 500GB of hard drive space, while its LED backlight display has a movie friendly 16:9 aspect ratio. The new IdeaPad also sports an HDMI output, Dolby Sound technology, and an Ambient Light Sensor which “automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness according to the lighting environment”.
Lenovo Unveils IdeaPad S12 Netbook with NVIDIA Ion Platform
Lenovo today announced the IdeaPad S12 netbook that will feature the NVIDIA Ion platform in select models.
The company’s first 12-inch netbook includes a full-size laptop keyboard, the Intel Atom processor, Intel’s integrated GPU or 1080p-capable Ion graphics, a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, a battery life of “up to six hours” with a 6-cell battery.
Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 Netbook Announced
Lenovo today officially announced the IdeaPad S10-2, an improved version of their 10.1-inch S10 netbook.
The S10-2 is 0.2kg lighter and 4mm thinner than the S10 and includes a slightly larger and improved keyboard and larger touchpad, a 6-cell battery for “up to 30 percent more battery life than before”, an additional USB port for a total of 3 ports, and a new cover pattern and color design. The netbook’s sound system is upgraded with Dolby headphone technology, while select models also include a built-in 3G mobile broadband module.
