Lenovo announced today the ThinkPad X220 and ThinkPad X220 Tablet (X220t) business-class ultraportable notebooks, featuring 12.5-inch displays and Intel’s “Sandy Bridge” full-voltage processors.

The notebooks also sport “all-day” battery life in select models, Nvidia Optimus switchable graphics in the T and W series, Intel vPro system management technology, and improved video and voice communication.

According to newly leaked info, the upcoming Lenovo ThinkPad T420 and T520 business laptops with the latest Intel Core “Sandy Bridge” processors will be launched in February.
The 14-inch ThinkPad T420 has screen resolution options of up to 1600×900 pixels, whereas the T520 goes up to full HD 1920×1080. Both laptops have 16:9 display ratio and feature Nvidia Optimus switchable graphics technology.

The Lenovo ThinkPad T410i, a low-cost version of the standard T410 14.1-inch business laptop, is now available.
Unlike the T410 featuring the Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and an optional dedicated NVIDIA video card, the ThinkPad T410i includes the lower-end Core i3-330M CPU and the integrated Intel GMA HD graphics only. The ThinkPad 410i comes with up to 8GB of of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive space or a 128GB solid state drive, a DVD burner, and a 4-, 6-, or 9-cell battery.

The most reliable laptops in the market are those from Asus, Toshiba, and Sony, followed by Apple and Dell, according to a Sqare Trade’s reasearch which is based on a 3-year malfunction rates projection.
The failure rates for Asus, Toshiba, Sony, Apple and Dell notebooks are 15.6, 15.7, 16.8, 17.4, and 18.3 percent, respectively.
