MSI Wind U120 - 10″ Netbook for Business Users

MSI Wind U120Fudzilla has published details of the MSI Wind U120, an upcoming business-oriented netbook with a 10-inch display.

“According to what we know so far, the new U120 will feature either a 120GB hard drive or 20/40GB SSD which will come at a later date. Other specs should be similar to the older U100, as there are no changes to the CPU or other key features. The business side of the U120 will be in its connectivity, as this one should come with 802.11n Wi-Fi and built-in 3.5G modem that will accept a SIM card,” Fudzilla reports.

MSI Launches New Gaming Laptops - GX400, GX630, GT735

MSI Gaming Notebook GT735MSI has unveiled three new gaming notebooks - the GX400, GX630, and GT735.

The 14.1-inch GX400 and 15.4-inch GX630 are based on Intel’s Centrino 2 mobile platform and feature Core 2 Duo processors and the Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT video cards. On the other side, the 17-inch GT735 is powered by AMD “Puma” technology, Turion X2 Ultra CPUs, and the ATi Mobility Radeon HD3850 dedicated graphics card.

MSI Launches EX310 13.3-Incher

MSI EX310MSI has unveiled the EX310 13.3-inch notebook, featuring the AMD Puma mobile platform and a “unique fashionable styling”.

The 4.2-pound MSI EX310 comes with the AMD Turion X2 Ultra dual-core processor, the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 256MB dedicated graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB of hard drive storage, and a DVD burner or Blu-Ray drive. Notebook’s display has a resolution of 1280-by-800 pixels.

MSI Announces PR201 Ultraportable

MSI PR201Along with the PR601, MSI today announced the PR201 12.1-inch ultraportable laptop featuring the latest Intel Centrino 2 processor technology.

The 4-pound MSI PR201 includes the new Core 2 Duo 45-nanometer CPU, Intel’s GMA X4500 integrated graphics managing the 1280×800 widescreen display, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, and a DVD burner.

MSI PR601Micro-Star Int’l today announced the MSI PR601 15.4-inch laptop for business users.

The notebook is based on the latest Intel Centrino 2 mobile technology, and includes the new Core 2 Duo 45-nanometer processors, Intel’s GMA X4500 integrated graphics managing the 1280×800 display, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, and a DVD burner.

MSI Wind U100 Now in Stock at NewEgg

MSI Wind U100-035LAThe MSI Wind U100-035LA 10-inch Intel Atom-based netbook is now in stock at NewEgg and costs $499.99.

The first Wind model available in the United States includes the Atom N270 processor at 1.6GHz, an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 3-cell battery, black chassis, and Windows XP Home operating system. This 2.3-pound ultraportable has a 1024 x 600 display with LED backlight.

MSI Announces AMD Puma-Based Laptop Lineup

MSI AMD Puma Gaming NotebookMSI has announced its new notebook lineup based on the AMD Puma Mobility Platform and Turion 64 X2 Ultra processors.

The Puma-powered models include the MSI GX630 and GT735 gaming laptops, PX211, PX210, and PR311 business class models, as well as EX300 and EX630 entertainment notebooks.

MSI Wind U100-Windows, U100-Linux Announced

MSI Wind U100-Windows, U100-LinuxMicro-Star International announced today the first two Wind-branded notebooks: the $499 MSI Wind U100-Windows and the Wind U100-Linux for $399.

The both ultraportables have a 10-inch 1024×600 display with LED backlight, the Intel Atom processor at 1.6GHz, and an 80GB SATA hard drive. The U100-Windows runs Microsoft’s Windows XP Home operating system and has 1GB of DDR2 memory and a 6-cell battery, while the U100-Linux with 512MB of RAM and a 3-cell battery runs Novell’s distribution of the open source OS. The Windows and Linux versions weigh 2.6 and 2.3 pounds respectively.

MSI Wind PC Low-Cost Ultraportable Announced

MSI Wind PCMSI has officially announced an ultrapotable laptop called the Wind PC, which will compete with the Asus Eee PC in the low-cost notebook market.

“The Wind will come with either an 8.9- or 10-inch display option featuring LED backlight technology and a resolution of 1024×600. The system weights around 1kg, according to MSI, and includes a 2.5-inch hard drive with storage capacity of 80GB. The notebooks will include Windows XP and, unlike some other vendors, MSI has not mentioned any plans to offer a Linux-based version so far,” DigiTimes reports.

MSI VR340 13.3″ Notebook Launched

MSI VR340Micro-Star Int’l today announced MSI VR340 notebook featuring a 13.3-inch display and the Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor.

The 4.85-pound VR340 supports up to 3GB of system memory, according to specifications. It comes with up to 250GB of hard drive capacity and a built-in optical drive. The system is based on Intel’s GL960 chipset with integrated graphics.

MSI Prepares Affordable Shelton’08-Based Notebooks

MSIMicro-Star International (MSI) is going to launch Linux OS-based low-cost notebook PCs in June at the earliest. The first of these products will be built on the Intel “Shelton’08” platform, and will feature a 7-inch display, according to Sambora Chen, director of Greater China sales.

Chen said that another model which runs on Windows XP is still under testing. Besides the first models built on Intel’s technology, MSI is also in talks with AMD about a potential partnership, Chen added.

The “simple, sophisticated and elegant” MSI PR200 Crystal Collection 3.9-pound ultraportable is based on the Intel “Santa Rosa” mobile platform and combines the Intel GM965 chipset and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 integrated GPU manages the notebook’s 12.1″ “Amazing Crystal Vision” display with 1280×800 resolution. This fashionable laptop supports up to 3GB of system memory and comes with a hard drive up to 250GB and a DVD burner.

MSI PR210 YAMSI Computer has unveiled its new 12-inch widescreen PR210 YA Edition ultraportable laptop featuring an AMD’s processor technology and Denim Blue, Coral Pink and Lime Green color choices.

The MSI PR210 YA incorporates the AMD Athlon 64 X2 Mobile TK-53 (1.7 GHz) processor and the ATI Radeon Xpress 1270 integrated graphics. The notebook has 1GB of DDR2 system memory, a 120GB SATA hard drive, a DVD burner, a 802.11b/g wireless LAN connection, and a built-in Bletooth module.
