MSI has released the Classic Series CR650, the company’s first notebook with AMD Fusion technology.
The 15.6-inch MSI CR650 includes the AMD E-350 APU, incorporating dual CPU cores at 1.6GHz, the Radeon HD 6310 graphics and UVD 3 HD video decoder. Other specifications include DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB of storage, a DVD burner, 1366×768 LED-backlight screen, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
MSI has updated the G Series gaming laptop line with the GT663 15.6-inch model, featuring the Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M dedicated video card.
Besides the GTX 460M with 1.5GB of GDDR5 video memory, the MSI GT633 includes a Core i7 quad-core processor, three DDR3 memory slots for a maximum of 12GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage using two 500GB hard drives, a DVD burner, and a LED backlight display with “full HD or HD” resolution.
MSI is showcasing their FR600 3D, the company’s first 3D-capable laptop, at the 2010 IFA Show in Berlin.
The 16-inch FR600 3D features an Intel Core i3 processor, Intel integrated graphics, TNX TruStudio Pro audio and 4 built-in speakers.
MSI has announced the new laptop from their entertainment-oriented F Series – the 15.6-inch FX610.
The FX610 features the AMD Phenom II triple-core processor, ATI Radeon HD 5470 1GB dedicated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, a 500, 640 or 720GB hard drive, a DVD writer, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 1366×768 display, and a “unique raised totem seal coating.”
MSI’s GT660 (GT660R) 16-inch gaming laptop is now available in the US.
The offered MSI GT660R-004US features the Intel Core i7-740QM quad-core 1.73GHz processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX285M 1GB graphic card, 6GB of DDR3 memory, 1TB of hard disk space using dual HDDs, and a Blu-ray combo drive.
The MSI FX600, a 15.6-inch notebook that belongs to the company’s new entertainment-oriented F Series, is now available.
Newegg offers two FX600 models – the MSI FX600-002US with the Intel Core i5 450M processor and a DVD writer and MSI FX600-003US with Core i3 350M CPU and a Blu-ray combo drive. Both configurations feature the Nvidia GeForce GT325M 1GB dedicated graphics, 4GB of DDR3 memory, and 500GB of hard disk space. The product page of the FX600-002US says the laptop includes NVIDIA Optimus switchable graphics and THX Surround Sound technology. It is not clear if these features are available in the FX600-003US.
MSI has released the 17-inch E7405 gaming laptop.
The offered MSI E7405-080US features the Intel Core i5-430M 2.26GHz processor, ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB DDR5 graphics card, 4GB of DDR3 system memory, a 320GB HDD, and a DVD burner.
MSI has announced the Wind U135DX 10-inch netbook with a new design and DDR3 memory support.
The MSI Wind U135DX is coated in “MSI’s Color Film Print with elegant patterns set off by the NB’s silver trim and wavy lines”. The netbook features the Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz processor, GMA 3150 integrated graphics, up to 2GB of DDR3 memory, a 160GB or larger hard disk, a 3-cell or optional 6-cell battery for up to 7 hours of run time, and Windows 7 Starter operating system.
The MSI GX740 17-inch gaming laptop with the quad-core Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz processor and ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB discrete graphics is now available for purchase in the US.
The GX740 includes 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard disk, DVD writer, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, and a display resolution of 1680×1050.
MSI has announced the F Series fashionable 14- to 17-inch laptops for entertainment.
The FX400, FX600, FX700, and FR600 feature the Intel Core i5 processor, while the FX610 sports 2010 AMD Mainstream Notebook Platform. The notebooks have a sound system designed by Dynaudio and THX, and, in select models, switchable graphics with the Nvidia GeForce GT325M 1GB discrete GPU.
MSI has announced the Classic Series CX623 multimedia-oriented 15.6-inch notebook.
The MSI CX623 features the Intel Core i5 processor, Nvidia GeForce 310M 1GB GPU, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, and a 320 or 500GB hard disk, and a screen resolution of 1366×768-pixels. There’s no info on optical drive.
MSI has announced the thin-and-light X420 and X620 laptops for business users.
The 14″ Intel Core 2 Duo Ultra-Low Voltage processor-powered X-Slim X420 weighs 4.14 pounds with the 4-cell battery and is less than one inch thin. It has the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 1GB discrete graphics card, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard drive storage, optional 8-cell battery that lasts “up to nine hours”, optional WiMAX module, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. It has a new cappuccino color film print.
MSI has unveiled the Wind L1350 10-inch netbook models.
The L1350 product pages on MSI Mobile website show that the netbooks are very similar to the U135 models. The only difference we have found is that the L1350 model with a 250GB HDD and a 6-cell battery is 0.2 pound heavier and $20 more expensive than the U135 with the same specs. Also, the L1350 comes in black and blue colors, whereas the U135 is additionally available in red and silver.
MSI has announced the GE700 17.3-inch gaming notebook with the Intel Core i5 processor and ATI Radeon HD5730 1GB discrete graphics.
The GE700 includes up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, a choice of 250, 320 or 500GB hard drive with Windows 7 pre-installed, a DVD burner, and a display resolution of 1680×1050 pixels.
The MSI Wind12 U230 12.1-inch AMD-powered ultraportable, which replaces the Wind12 U210, is available now in the United States.
