Sony has released the VAIO F series 16.4-inch higher-end entertainment notebook for 2011, featuring the 2nd Generation Intel Core processors, optional 3D capability, and a new design.
The updated Sony VAIO F (VPCF2000X series) comes with the quad-core Core i7-2630QM, i7-2720QM, or i7-2820QM processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and an up to 640GB hard drive or 512GB solid state drive. The 3D F Series comes with Nvidia’s 3D Vision technology, the Nvidia GeForce GT 540M 1GB dedicated video card and a Blu-ray player or burner, while the 2D version additionally provides GeForce GT 520M 512MB and DVD burner options, but lacks 3D Vision.

Sony Electronics today announced the Sony VAIO C Series notebooks, including the 14-inch CA10 and 15.5-inch CB10 models.
The VAIO C laptops feature the 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processors and a colorful design. Select models have the AMD Radeon HD 6630 1GB hybrid graphics, Blu-ray drives, and Intel Wireless Display 2.0 technology.
Refreshed Sony VAIO Y Ultraportable Now Available
