Toshiba has announced the 16-inch Satellite A665 and 14-inch Satellite M645 entertainment laptops.
The Satellite A665 and M645 series feature the Intel core i3, i5, i7 and AMD Phenom II Quad Core processors, optional Nvidia Optimus technology with GeForce 310M or GT330 dedicated graphics, raised-tile keyboards, and a new Fusion X2 textured finish.
Toshiba has announced the first two laptops from the new and affordable Satellite C600 series – the 14-inch Satellite C640 and 15.6-inch Satellite C650.
The C600 series notebooks include choice of AMD or Intel processors, support for DDR3 memory, 250GB to 320GB of hard disk capacity, DVD writers, HD widescreen displays, web cameras, built-in WiFi, multi-touch trackpads, and built-in numeric keypads.
Toshiba Europe announced today the Satellite A665 15.6-inch gaming and multimedia laptop with Nvidia’s 3D Vision technology, active shutter glasses, and a Blu-ray optical drive.
The Satellite A665 also features the Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTS 350M dedicated GPU, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 500GB of hard disk space, and a hybrid TV tuner.
The most reliable laptops in the market are those from Asus, Toshiba, and Sony, followed by Apple and Dell, according to a Sqare Trade’s reasearch which is based on a 3-year malfunction rates projection.
The failure rates for Asus, Toshiba, Sony, Apple and Dell notebooks are 15.6, 15.7, 16.8, 17.4, and 18.3 percent, respectively.

Toshiba’s top-of-the-line Satellite model – the 16-inch A660 – is a multimedia laptop that provides a choice of the Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors, Nvidia’s dedicated graphics (512Mb or 1GB), up to 640GB of hard disk space, up to 8GB of RAM, a Blu-ray drive or DVD writer, and a LED-backlit 720p display. It also sports a web camera, four USB ports, one eSATA/USB connector, an HDMI output, and a 5-in-1 media card reader.
Toshiba announced today the new Satellite, Qosmio, and Tecra laptops with the latest Intel Core i3, i5 and Core i7 mobile processors.
The Core i3/i5/i7-powered series include the Satellite L505, L555, A505, P505, M505, and U505, the Qosmio X505, and the Tecra A11.
Toshiba today expanded its Satellite T100 thin-and-light notebook series with the 13.3-inch T135D and 11.6-inch T115D models that feature AMD’s processors.
Unlike the Intel-based T135 and T115, the Toshiba Satellite T135D and T115D include the AMD Turion Neo X2, Athlon Neo X2 or Athlon Neo MV-40 processor, depending on model, as well as the ATI Mobility Radeon graphics.
Toshiba has released the 15.6-inch Satellite Pro L450 and 17.3-inch Satellite Pro L550 laptops, both designed for small and medium business users.
The new notebooks feature Intel’s Core 2 Duo processors and GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, up to 320GB of hard drive space, DVD burners, web cameras, and 802.11/a/g/n wireless LAN. The Satellite Pro L450 comes with Windows XP Professional 32-bit SP3 pre-installed and Windows 7 Professional upgrade media, while the L550 comes with Windows 7 Pro preloaded.

Toshiba today announced the addition of five new models to its Satellite Pro notebook family for budget-minded business users.
The new laptops include the 15.4-inch Satellite Pro L300 and L300D series, the M300 14.1-incher, Satellite Pro U400 with a 13.3″ display, as well as the L350 with a 17-inch screen.
Toshiba’s new 17-inch gaming notebooks – the Satellite X205-SLI5 and Satellite X205-SLI6 – are now available for purchase. These laptops feature dual Nvidia GeForce graphics, as well as faster Intel Core 2 Duo “Penryn†processors and more memory than in the previous SLI2 and SLI4 models.
