Dell Releases Studio 17 Multi-Touch Edition

Dell Studio 17Dell launched today a multi-touch edition of the Studio 17 laptop.

Along with the multi-touch enabled 17.3-inch LED backlight display, the multimedia-oriented Studio 17 features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the GMA 4500MHD integrated or the ATI Radeon 4570/4650 dedicated graphics, up to 4GB of DDR3 memory, up to 1TB of hard drive storage using two 500GB HDDs, a DVD burner, Blu-ray Combo drive, or Blu-ray burner, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Acer Aspire AS5738PG 15.6″ Touch-Screen Laptop Announced

Acer Aspire AS5738PGAcer has announced the Aspire AS5738PG notebook with a multi-touch 15.6-inch display, Intel’s CPU, and Windows 7 OS.

According to Acer, customers can touch anywhere on the AS5738PG’s screen using one or two fingertips to play movies, zoom in and out on websites, edit photos and video, handwrite notes, resize windows, launch entertainment applications and more.

Toshiba Announces Satellite U505, M505 Touch-Screen Laptops

Current Satellite U500 / U505Toshiba announced today the 13.3-inch Satellite U505 Touch and 14-inch Satellite M505 Touch laptops, both with touch-screen displays and Windows 7 operating system.

“Users now will have a new choice in ways to interact with their laptop, whether flicking through photos, shuffling files, browsing online or playing games, utilizing Windows Touch-enabled functionality. The new Satellite M505 Touch and Satellite U505 Touch laptops let users tap, drag-and-drop and scroll through files, Web pages and images,” the press release says.
