Panasonic has unveiled the Toughbook 53 semi-rugged laptop, featuring a 14″ screen with optional touch input support, Intel “Sandy Bridge” processors, and optional 4G connectivity.
The new Toughbook sports a magnesium alloy case with handle and has passed MIL-STD-810G tests, surviving drops from 30-inch height on six faces. It has a spill-resistant keyboard with backlight, sealed ports, and shock-mounted data storage.
