CompAmerica today introduced its preconfigured Back to School laptop, called the Pantera (Academic Edition). With an price of $1,379, academic Pantera features a 2 GHz Dual Core Centrino Technology CPU, wifi 802.11a/b/g, gigabit ethernet, 8x DVD Burner with dual layer capability, and a 14″ Glass View Screen.
