Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi sound card is going to be available for laptop computers, NotebookReview reports.
The X-Fi audio card for laptops uses ExpressCard slot to plug-in to a computer and features “Optical Out” and “Optical In” ports.
The Sound Blaster X-Fi is 24 times more powerful than its Audigy 2 ZS predecessor, according to Creative. The X-Fi audio processor delivers an “Active Modal Architecture” that allows the users to switch between one of three modes - Gaming, Entertainment & Audio Creation. Each mode dynamically dedicates the processor’s power to deliver the features, quality and capabilities that you require for that usage. There are also “136dB SNR Processing Quality” and X-Fi CMSS-3D for realistic surround sound, the company says.
