The networking solutions provider D-Link has announced immediate availability of the Xtreme N Notebook ExpressCard (DWA-643), featuring draft 802.11n wireless connectivity.
“This draft 802.11n wireless adapter delivers up to 14x faster speeds and 6x farther range than 802.11g while staying backward compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b networks,†D-Link says.
Regarding security, Xtreme N Notebook ExpressCard DWA-643 uses WEP, WPA, or WPA2 encryption.
The product specifications say the DWA-643 is supported under Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems.
