Dell is set to begin shipping notebooks that feature AMD processors from the last week of October. By the beginning of November, the first batch of 500,000 15.4-inch screen AMD-powered laptops from Dell will officially hit the market with prices ranging from $449 – $499, Digi Times reports according to Taiwan-based notebook makers.
It is reported that Dell will target the low-end of the laptop market with its AMD models.
The 17-inch screen Dell AMD notebooks will hit the market in the first quarter of 2007, according to the notebook makers.
