Dell has unveiled Design Studio, an online service that allows customers to personalize Dell Studio laptops with artwork.
“Dell Design Studio offers more than 100 exclusive and original works of art to express personal style for the Dell Studio 15 and Studio 17 laptops for $75. Each image is permanently tattooed into the laptop lid, making the design extremely durable,” the press release says.
You can see the artworks on http://www.dell.com/designstudio.
rip-off.
I have both a 12$ skin on a netbook from one site and was very happy with it and also a 24$ from another for my laptop which offers to put my own image/logo for 5$ more if you so desire which my friend did with his.
Then again, it costs less for me too buy a 2GB ram stick than it is to go from 512mb to 1GB so if youve got the the money to burn….enjoy.
The do it yoruself skins are easy to install and my 11 year old niece installed one by herself.
