Dell has just added Intel Core 2 Duo (Merom) processors to its Latitude D520 notebook series. Dell Latitude D520 now can be configured with only one of five Core 2 Duo CPUs. It’s T7200 running on 2GHz with 4MB of L2 cache. The Merom-powered D520 price starts at $839 after rebate.
The Dell’s D520 comes with 14.1-inch or 15-inch screen, it ships with up to 4GB of DDR2 memory and up to 120GB hard drive and has integrated wireless card with optional Bluetooth module.
If you purchase Dell Latitude D520 with Core 2 Duo now, its shipping will delay for 15 days, but you can have it with Intel’s Celeron and Core Duo processors without delays.
The D520 comes with Windows XP Professional or XP Home.
