Dell Releases Latitude E6510, E6410 Laptops


Dell UK has released the Latitude E6510 and E6410 new business-class laptops with the latest Intel processors.

The 15.6-inch E6510 and 14.1″ E6410 include the Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs, up to i7-820QM, the Intel HD integrated or NVIDIA NVS 3100M 512MB dedicated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, maximal 500GB of hard drive storage or up to 256GB solid state drive capacity, and a DVD burner or Blu-Ray optical drive.

The E6510 can be configured with full HD 1920×1080 display.

The notebooks include optional mobile broadband connectivity, optional WiMAX, and advanced security features.

Dell’s new Latitudes have magnesium alloy cases and come in various colors.

They run Windows 7 or Vista OS.

Pricing for the E6150 has not been published yet, while the E6140 starts at £749 (around $1,130).

There’s no info on availability in the US.

    Will there be a “standard” WUXGA 1920×1200 screen – like for the existing models (E6500, D830), or DELL is trying to force the Customers to only use FullHD? I really do not like this resolution – this is primary a business/performance/engineering laptop and 16:9 format isn’t really the preferable one in this sector?
