Dell announced today the Precision M4500 15.6-inch mobile workstation for designers and engineers.
The Precision M4500 includes the Core i5 or Core i7 processor, the Nvidia Quadro FX 1800M or Quadro FX 880M graphics, and “optional HD+ sRGB LED screen with 100 percent user selectable color gamut support.” The notebook comes with an optional 64GB SSD MiniCard, optional 3MP camera and optional Gobi 2.0 mobile broadband support.
According to the press release, the M4500 has a battery life of 7 hours and 40 minutes and weighs 6 pounds.
The mobile workstation supports Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP, and Linux 5.3 operating systems.
Dell says the Precision M4500 will be available in the coming weeks. There’s no info on pricing.
