Dell now offers its U.S. customers the option of purchasing Latitude D420, D620, D820, Precision M65 and the Inspiron M1210 laptops with Sprint EVDO wireless built-in, Notebook Review reports.
Previously the only option for integrated EVDO with Dell notebooks was Verizon. Sprint will offer unlimited data access via EVDO for $59.99/month when you sign a 2-year service plan or $79.99/month for a 1-year service plan. In order to get the built-in Sprint’s EVDO customers have to purchase the notebook with the Dell Wireless 5700-S mobile broadband EVDO mini-card priced at $179, the report says.
