Dell announced today its redesigned Vostro laptop lineup which now includes the 13.3-inch Vostro 1320, the 15.4″ 1520, and the 17″ 1720.
The low-cost business notebooks are based on Intel’s Core 2 Duo processors and support up to 8GB of DDR2 memory. Graphics options include the integrated GMA X4500MHD and the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS 256MB. The new Vosto notebooks ship with up to 250GB of hard drive space or a 128GB solid state drive, and with a slot-load DVD burner or Blu-Ray combo drive.
Maximal display resolutions are 1280×800 on the 1320, 1440×900 on the 1520, and 1920 x 1200 on the 1720.
The laptops also feature an optional 1.3MP web camera with microphone, accompanied by Dell Webcam Central & Dell Video Chat software, as well as 802.11n WiFi, optional Bluetooth, and optional fingerprint reader and the Trusted Platform module 1.3. When configuring the Vostro 1520, customers can additionally choose the Dell Wireless 5530 mobile broadband module.
Dell’s Vostro 1320, 1520 and 1720 run Windows Vista OS and start at $679, $619, and $699 respectively. The laptops are available now through the Dell SMB website.
