Dell announced the availability of the built-in Dell Wireless 1500 draft-802.11n dual-band wireless mini card that can be configured for all XPS and Inspiron laptop computers. The 802.11n wireless card will enable data transfer rates of up to 270 Mbps, versus the maximum 54 Mbps with 802.11g wireless technology, and greater range when paired with an 802.11n wireless network router.
The Dell 1500 802.11n wireless card is backward compatibile with 802.11g, 802.11b and 802.11a wireless standards.
The cost of this card is $59.
